The 1989 Porsche 911 Speedster is one of the most iconic and rare air-cooled 911s ever produced. Built as a tribute to the original 356 Speedster of the 1950s, this special model combined the timeless lines of the G-series 911 with a chopped windshield, wide body from the 911 Turbo, and a lightweight design focused purely on the joy of driving. With just over 2,000 units brought to North America, it’s become a coveted piece of Porsche history.
This beautiful Speedster came to Auto Detailing Naples in need of a full dry ice cleaning, paint correction, and ceramic coating to preserve and protect its originality. The undercarriage had decades of built-up grime and oxidation, so we used our Cold Jet system to perform a non-abrasive dry ice blast, safely removing contaminants from the chassis, suspension, and engine bay without harming the patina or factory finishes.
Afterwards, we performed a multi-stage paint correction to revive the gloss and clarity of the classic Guards Red paint. To lock in the results, we applied FEYNLAB ceramic coating, providing long-term protection against UV rays, moisture, and environmental fallout.
