This SL500 came to Auto Detailing Naples by Carbon Coatings for a full exterior and under-hood transformation. The owner wanted to restore the paint’s depth and gloss, protect it long-term, and have the engine bay detailed to match the car’s refined exterior.
We began with a multi-stage paint correction process, carefully removing swirl marks, fine scratches, and oxidation that had dulled the finish. After restoring the surface clarity and gloss, we applied FEYNLAB ceramic coating — a professional-grade coating that chemically bonds to the paint, creating long-lasting protection against UV rays, water spots, and environmental contaminants. The ceramic coating also enhances the depth and reflectivity of the paint, giving the SL500 a brilliant, mirror-like finish.
Next, we performed a full engine bay detail, safely degreasing and cleaning the engine components, plastics, and painted surfaces. We used non-aggressive degreasers to clean without damaging delicate parts, followed by dressing key surfaces for a crisp, factory-fresh look under the hood.
The result? A rejuvenated SL500 that looks just as stunning with the hood up as it does cruising down the boulevard.
